Beam takes several ingests in parallel and switches automatically if the active one drops. Everything is recorded, you choose the delay, and the profiles for OBS Studio and vMix are ready to download. Here is how it works, with the numbers you need.
- Ingest
- RTMPS and SRT. Several ingests per broadcast, each with its own credentials.
- Picture
- Up to 1920 × 1080 at 25 or 50 frames per second. 30 and 60 for material that originates elsewhere.
- Bitrate
- 3.5 to 8 Mbit/s depending on profile. Plan for 20 Mbit/s of upload for the highest one.
- Keyframe
- Every two seconds, no B-frames. That is what low delay requires.
- Backup
- Automatic switch to the next ingest in priority order, with no reload on the viewer side.
- Recording
- Starts when you go live and is published on the broadcast page when you stop.
Two connections.Viewers see one.
Every broadcast can have several ingests, each with its own credentials and a priority. The lowest number goes on air. If it drops, the next one takes over automatically, with no reload on the viewer's side. Prefer to switch by hand? That works too.
- Different networks
- Run the backup over another connection, such as 4G or 5G, so one network fault cannot take both.
- Second encoder
- The backup can come from a second encoder, or from the same machine over another network.
- Priority
- You set the order. Beam follows it when a stream goes silent.

Low delay gives dialogue: questions and answers feel immediate. Higher delay gives margin against a shaky network. You choose per broadcast, and the interaction is timed to your choice, so polls appear when the speaker asks the question.

A rehearsal is an exact copy of the broadcast: same page, same modules, same design. But with its own ingest and a secret link. Run the whole programme, test questions and polls and see what viewers will see, without anything reaching the real address. Rehearsals are never billed.

- Credentials for the technician
- Credentials are emailed as a personal link valid for 14 days. They are shown only when the link is opened, and every view is logged.
- Keys you can replace
- If a key ends up in the wrong hands, rotate it and the old one stops working immediately.
Everything is recorded.And can be restreamed.
Recording starts when you go live and is published on the broadcast page when you stop. It is kept according to your agreement and can be downloaded. The same broadcast can run in parallel to other platforms, or to any RTMP address.

Capacity for the big day.Operated in the EU.
The broadcast is delivered over European infrastructure with capacity for tens of thousands of concurrent viewers. Application, database and realtime layer run in the EU and all user data is stored in Stockholm. Stream keys are encrypted at rest, and every time someone reveals a key it is written to the audit log.
